Riesch beats Vonn in downhill final

Maria Riesch made the race for the overall title a lot more interesting Wednesday. The World Cup No. 2 beat Lindsey Vonn in the women’s downhill final, narrowing the gap for the coveted crystal globe. Vonn is still the favorite, but Riesch showed she’s not going down without a fight. Watch the TV broadcast at 1 p.m. ET and tune in Thursday for the giant slalom at 3 a.m. ET!
